Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Matt Durrant came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the IceTigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matt Durrant couldn't finish the play. After 5 minutes, Patrick Scargill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harleston United and the IceTigers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Harleston United got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Scargill. In the 6th minute Andy Gilchrist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shane Tipton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. IceTigers's Teddy Sparks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glyn Hurst in the 8th minute of play. When Bradley Farrell fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harleston United's protests and gave Bradley Farrell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Bradley Farrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grant Haskell kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Grant Haskell's late challenge caught a Harleston United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grant Haskell helped the player get up and apologised. Grant Haskell kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Shane Tipton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grant Haskell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Harleston United's Jo Strickland got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Andy Gilchrist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matt Durrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Shane Tipton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Matt Durrant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

IceTigers's Teddy Sparks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Atkinson in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Harleston United's Glyn Hurst nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teddy Sparks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 71 played minutes Harleston United got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Scargill. Harleston United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Grant Haskell scored to the left of an out of position Shane Tipton, making the score, 2-1. Matt Durrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, Grant Haskell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Harleston United's Glyn Hurst got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 92 played minutes Harleston United got a freekick which was hit by Glyn Hurst. IceTigers's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Harleston United had won, even though IceTigers had held more of the ball.
