Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Richard Thompson made the kick off which started today's match. Harleston United's Glyn Hurst got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harry Atkinson kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Shane Tipton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barney Marlow in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Furniss in the 11th minute of play forced Harleston United's goalkeeper Shane Tipton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Patrick Scargill came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Harleston United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Scargill couldn't finish the play. Richard Thompson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Harleston United getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Harvey Ingram hit a great ball. Shane Tipton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Conal Lewington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradley Farrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, East Leakers's goalkeeper Conal Lewington had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glyn Hurst. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olly Morley in the 33rd minute of play forced Harleston United's goalkeeper Shane Tipton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harvey Ingram's late challenge caught a East Leakers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harvey Ingram helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of East Leakers booed when Harleston United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glyn Hurst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shane Tipton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olly Morley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glyn Hurst made a kick off. Shane Tipton was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Olly Morley capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olly Morley really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 57th minute, East Leakers's Richard Thompson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Glyn Hurst hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in East Leakers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Harleston United. Glyn Hurst stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Conal Lewington. 1-3. 70 minutes into the game, East Leakers's Richard Thompson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shane Tipton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barney Marlow in the 80th minute of play forced Harleston United's goalkeeper Shane Tipton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conal Lewington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Atkinson in the 87th minute of play. Glyn Hurst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conal Lewington having to interfere. Harleston United's Shane Tipton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Harleston United from getting a goal against them. Conal Lewington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glyn Hurst in the 93rd minute of the match. Barney Marlow kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
