Spectators: 7997 (Terracing: 5999, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vincent Foster took the kick off in the first half of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Knights of the Spring fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! 6 minutes into the game, Dom Halliday recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bobby Blake. Dom Halliday showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Philip Garner's late challenge caught a Knights of the Spring's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philip Garner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Philip Garner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Vincent Foster had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Russ Webster. Knights of the Spring's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vincent Foster was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 21st match minute, Kingswinford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sol Haseldine to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Micheal Goodman took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Bobby Blake to make any attempt to save it. After 29 minutes, Larry Bennett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kingswinford and the Knights of the Spring players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kingswinford! 34 minutes into the match, Vincent Foster notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Knights of the Spring's Russ Webster. Russ Webster was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edward Biernat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Blake having to interfere. If Anthony Reid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Russ Webster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Foster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The wind increased when Dom Halliday made the kick off in the second half. Bobby Blake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Biernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Russ Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Foster in the 52nd minute of play. Dom Halliday fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Blake having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Kingswinford got a freekick which was hit by Martin Pascoe. Sol Haseldine hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Russ Webster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Foster, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Robert Boyce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Russ Webster made a huge save. In the 65th minute Dom Halliday shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobby Blake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Knights of the Spring's Russ Webster got control of the ball when Vincent Foster tried to sneak it across the goal line. Russ Webster came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Kingswinford's Robert Boyce. But to his dismay, Robert Boyce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Robert Boyce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Russ Webster made a huge save. Jeremy Hall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Knights of the Spring defense, Vincent Foster kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Russ Webster. The Knights of the Spring fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Russ Webster should have stopped the shot. Robert Boyce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Russ Webster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Robert Boyce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Kingswinford's goal looked a bit too open when Dom Halliday came free, but Bobby Blake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tristan McGurk during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tristan McGurk hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Dom Halliday cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Bobby Blake was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Kingswinford's zone, Edward Biernat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bobby Blake came out of the goal and Edward Biernat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 played minutes Kingswinford got a freekick which was hit by Philip Garner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Micheal Goodman in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bobby Blake prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Knights of the Spring were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
