Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Johnny Haylock took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Jordan's zone, Amos Nakpawan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Halliwell came out of the goal and Amos Nakpawan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnny Haylock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ding Baqui having to interfere. After a rather tough play, U21 Philippines's Frascuelo Servillon got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Philippines's zone, Johnny Haylock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ding Baqui came out of the goal and Johnny Haylock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to U21 Philippines getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Frascuelo Servillon hit a great ball. If Amos Nakpawan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Frascuelo Servillon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Philippines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Jordan the free kick. Sidney Shearer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ding Baqui having to make a save. A collision led to U21 Philippines getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Frascuelo Servillon hit a great ball. Charles Rowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franco Guanlao charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franco Guanlao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, U21 Philippines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Guanlao to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Jordan's zone, Franco Guanlao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Halliwell came out of the goal and Franco Guanlao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sidney Shearer during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sidney Shearer hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. U21 Philippines's Franco Guanlao got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wesley Garong was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Philippines's zone, Charles Rowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ding Baqui came out of the goal and Charles Rowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Franco Guanlao made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Halliwell. U21 Jordan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Popcorn Libiran fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Philippines's protests and gave Popcorn Libiran a yellow card for diving instead. Popcorn Libiran hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Amos Nakpawan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, U21 Philippines's Frascuelo Servillon got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ding Baqui was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jonny Blakewell. When Franco Guanlao was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. A collision led to U21 Philippines getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Franco Guanlao hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Martin Tiongco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 minutes, Wesley Garong made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Jordan's Ivan Halliwell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wesley Garong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ivan Halliwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Garong, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When U21 Philippines's Walter Tagasa in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Jordan's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, U21 Philippines's Ding Baqui got control of the ball when Sidney Shearer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, U21 Philippines's Popcorn Libiran got a free kick in the 88th minute. U21 Philippines's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
