Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teodoro Pumarejo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Enzo Cañaveral hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, U21 Brazil's Romário Faria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, U21 Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Pumarejo came free, but Sérgio Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Sena was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Brazil's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on U21 Brazil's corner André Sena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiso Correa quite easily take care of the ball. U21 Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Romário Faria scored to the left of an out of position Tiso Correa, making the score, 2-0. In the 23rd minute Frédson Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiso Correa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Lambe Concha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to U21 Uruguay getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Enzo Cañaveral hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Teodoro Pumarejo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tiso Correa was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Romário Faria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romário Faria really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 36th minute, Tiago de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Teodoro Pumarejo fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Uruguay's protests and gave Teodoro Pumarejo a yellow card for diving instead. Teodoro Pumarejo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Paulo Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the U21 Brazil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Nunes couldn't finish the play. When U21 Uruguay's Lambe Concha in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Brazil's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, U21 Uruguay's Kometh Trąba got a free kick in the 47th minute. Tiso Correa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The wind increased when Paulo Nunes made the kick off in the second half. Tiso Correa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romário Faria went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Tiso Correa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Leal in the 58th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Paulo Nunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Uruguay's Tiso Correa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Faria in the 60th minute of play forced U21 Uruguay's goalkeeper Tiso Correa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, U21 Brazil's goalkeeper Sérgio Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lambe Concha. Tiso Correa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Leal in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romário Faria in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiso Correa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frédson Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. U21 Uruguay made a substitution. Laffitte Bazquez replaced Kometh Trąba. U21 Uruguay's Llanos Villoria was substituted for Teodoro Pumarejo. U21 Brazil made a substitution. Hernani Toscano replaced Paulo Nunes. After 73 played minutes U21 Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Sadurni Mantecon. Tiso Correa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 74th minute Frédson Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiso Correa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to U21 Brazil getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Aloísio de Queirós hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llanos Villoria in the 79th minute of play forced U21 Brazil's goalkeeper Sérgio Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hernani Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. U21 Uruguay's Tiso Correa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Douglas in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llanos Villoria in the 85th minute of play forced U21 Brazil's goalkeeper Sérgio Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiso Correa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédson Leal in the 89th minute of the match. After 89 minutes, Hernani Toscano made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Uruguay's Tiso Correa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lambe Concha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Sérgio Monteiro made a huge save. 95 minutes into the game, Michael Douglas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Tiso Correa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. U21 Brazil's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
