Guido Aguilar ran back to his position shaking his head. Sergio Van Houtvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Aguilar in the 17th minute of play. Gill Van Damme struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Alberto Coello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. Sergio Van Houtvin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Aguilar in the 22nd minute. Gill Van Damme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harold De Witte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Alberto Coello made a huge save. Belgium's Sergio Van Houtvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asier Higuera in the 73rd minute of play. After 78 minutes, Asier Higuera made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Belgium's Sergio Van Houtvin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Belgium's Sammy Engels was substituted for Gustaaf Naets. Isaac Berrewouts kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match.
