In the 5th minute, Belgium's Octave Soetemans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carel Van de Schrieck. Carel Van de Schrieck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Café DE PLOEG booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Wigghers didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mbaka Mbolu in the 12th minute of play forced Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Mbaka Mbolu took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Carel Van de Schrieck to make any attempt to save it. Mbaka Mbolu might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carel Van de Schrieck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mbaka Mbolu ran back to his position shaking his head. Carel Van de Schrieck made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Mbaka Mbolu sent off a good shot on target. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Café DE PLOEG's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leopold Van den Paenhuysen took the corner. The corner ended in Leopold Van den Paenhuysen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wolf De Hond got free with Carel Van de Schrieck in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute 龚康松 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie De Smedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisinho Vidal made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Charl De Metser immediately put the ball in play. Carel Van de Schrieck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mbaka Mbolu in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Café DE PLOEG's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leopold Van den Paenhuysen ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 47th minute, Mbaka Mbolu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mbaka Mbolu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Café DE PLOEG's Charl De Metser shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ritchie De Smedt but with some difficulty. Belgium were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Café DE PLOEG for a fine match.
