Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, U21 Denmark's goalkeeper Bo Tuborg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Butler. After 42 played minutes U21 England got a freekick which was hit by Tom Lester. The supporters of U21 England booed when U21 Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Hoelgaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. U21 England's Paddy Madden was substituted for Trevor Carey-Bertram. After 48 played minutes U21 Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Hoelgaard. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Darius Goodall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. U21 Denmark's Bo Tuborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paddy Madden in the 72nd minute of play. Bo Tuborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Butler, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. There was no doubt that U21 England were the better team. U21 England's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
