A nice corner shot did that Christopher Best got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fery Mulia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Laurence Steed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ade Idris in the 24th minute of the match. After 31st play minutes Ade Idris shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Laurence Steed and just under the crossbar into goal. 36 minutes into the match, Luxembourg's goal looked a bit too open when Ade Idris came free, but Laurence Steed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes Luxembourg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sipiongot Sitepu who took care of the corner kick. Luxembourg's Laurence Steed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muslim Ahmad in the 40th minute of play. Roy Radcliffe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Fery Mulia made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
