After 18 minutes of play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Caetano Saad made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rômulo de Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute Caetano Saad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Donato in the 22nd minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Rômulo de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Humberto Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CE LAJEADENSE RS's protests and gave Humberto Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute Daniel Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Doykin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aloísio Donato took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rômulo de Almeida. Rômulo de Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 36 minutes in the game, Aloísio Donato dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amauri Rocha during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Amauri Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rômulo de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelson Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Aloísio Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Humberto Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Rômulo de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Saad in the 47th minute of the match. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Amauri Rocha pulled a muscle in his leg after 48 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caetano Saad during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Saad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Rômulo de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano Saad's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Rômulo de Almeida was a little too slow when Aloísio Donato got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-7. Nuno Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adalberto Vianna got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Rômulo de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Rossi in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Caetano Saad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rômulo de Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Rômulo de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Saad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rômulo de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Humberto Rossi sent off a good shot on target. Jhon Arias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rômulo de Almeida came out and tried to block the shot, but Jhon Arias slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 98th minute. CE LAJEADENSE RS played a much better game than Rondinone F.C - FDFDF and deserved their victory. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
