The long shot by Gildo Cearense in the 3rd minute really tested Garaona Alfeiran's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Adam Doykin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fábio Neto's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fábio Neto in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Doykin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as CE LAJEADENSE RS's Aloísio Donato slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Garaona Alfeiran. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Garaona Alfeiran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gildo Cearense in the 19th minute. A collision led to Cachoeira Paulista F.c getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kauã Campidelis hit a great ball. Garaona Alfeiran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Rossi went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jhon Arias hit a great ball. Luís Fábio Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Adam Doykin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Neto in the 30th minute of play. Garaona Alfeiran made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Anísio Koehler sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cachoeira Paulista F.c's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gildo Cearense was slow to take the kick. During this time CE LAJEADENSE RS's players had a chance to rest. Anísio Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Garaona Alfeiran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Donato in the 42nd minute of the match. Luís Fábio Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Doykin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Cachoeira Paulista F.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rafael Veiga made the kick off in the second half. Cachoeira Paulista F.c's Garaona Alfeiran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo Cearense in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Castro to maneuver through the defense. Luís Fábio Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Adam Doykin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Aloísio Donato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Garaona Alfeiran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 65 played minutes Cachoeira Paulista F.c got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Campidelis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Cearense in the 72nd minute of play forced Cachoeira Paulista F.c's goalkeeper Garaona Alfeiran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Luís Fábio Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Gildo Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garaona Alfeiran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Rossi scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garaona Alfeiran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 90 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Cearense. Cachoeira Paulista F.c's José Vítor Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garaona Alfeiran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cachoeira Paulista F.c's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
