After 5 played minutes FÊNIX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Martins. Damian Fetor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gusztáv Bács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Sharkin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Fetor was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as VC zoetwater's Bernardo Sharkin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Damian Fetor. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. 17 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's Ive Volckaerts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Fetor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardo Sharkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ive Volckaerts's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Damian Fetor firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 41 minutes of play, VC zoetwater's Gusztáv Bács made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Fetor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernardo Sharkin scored 5-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Fetor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ive Volckaerts stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anthony Dumont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FÊNIX F.C.'s Evaristo Martins got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ive Volckaerts in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Fetor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damian Fetor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Sharkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Fetor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Sharkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Ive Volckaerts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Fetor was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the FÊNIX F.C. defense, Bernardo Sharkin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Fetor. The FÊNIX F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Fetor should have stopped the shot. In the 71stth minute of the game Ive Volckaerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gong Ying Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Bouchard in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute FÊNIX F.C. were awarded a corner. Marquinhos Teixeira went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to VC zoetwater getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bernardo Sharkin hit a great ball. Damian Fetor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gusztáv Bács in the 78th minute of the match. FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Bo in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Pedro Luís Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Ive Volckaerts put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Damian Fetor. 96 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Sharkin came free, but Damian Fetor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the VC zoetwater players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
