The audience thought a goal was coming when Martyn Rider got free with Eurico Moreno in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Garlic Eaters's Eurico Moreno got control of the ball when Mark Booth tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaël Thuilliez in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eurico Moreno, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gaël Thuilliez took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eurico Moreno. Eurico Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Gaël Thuilliez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 26 minutes into the game, Martyn Rider recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eurico Moreno. Martyn Rider showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Gaël Thuilliez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Moreno having to interfere. Mark Booth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Eurico Moreno made a huge save. After 31 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Martyn Rider. Syd Cullen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Parrondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Gaël Thuilliez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Eurico Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Eurico Moreno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Booth. Eurico Moreno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Eurico Moreno successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. James Parrondo was the one to do the kick off. Eurico Moreno didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Coventry Wasps's Mark Booth shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Mark Booth took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eurico Moreno. Eurico Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coventry Wasps. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Coventry Wasps fully deserved thier win.
