The audience was convinced that Leif Sjørlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matty Plant was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Jens Borges took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matty Plant. Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Leif Sjørlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coventry Wasps's Matty Plant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Louis Bateman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rupert Give read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Though ot was a great shot Coventry Wasps's keeper Matty Plant was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Matty Plant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roger Hvitved showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 71 minute of play. Coventry Wasps's Simeon Woodhead was substituted for Ben Moxon. Monks in Robes played a much better game than Coventry Wasps and deserved their victory. The Coventry Wasps players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
