A collision led to Coventry Wasps getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ben Moxon hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, André Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hummerfiskarna's supporters rose to their feet, but André Carlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matty Plant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matty Plant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Carlsson went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute, Jermaine Silvester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, André Carlsson put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Matty Plant. Åke Palmquist kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Rasmus Månsson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The long shot by Jermaine Silvester in the 43rd minute really tested Thomas Odman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 46th play minutes André Carlsson shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Matty Plant and just under the crossbar into goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronny Shipperley to make the kick off. Thomas Odman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Shipperley in the 52nd minute of play. Thomas Odman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Bateman in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hummerfiskarna's Åke Palmquist got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Ronny Shipperley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute Lewis Davey suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Åke Wickander during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Hummerfiskarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Wickander to maneuver through the defense. If Göran Östlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jermaine Silvester's late challenge caught a Hummerfiskarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jermaine Silvester helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Jermaine Silvester. Matty Plant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Måns Eliasson. In the 76thth minute of the game Göran Östlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coventry Wasps's Matty Plant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Ben Moxon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Hummerfiskarna booed when Coventry Wasps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Moxon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute Hummerfiskarna were awarded a corner. Måns Eliasson went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Måns Eliasson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matty Plant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Hummerfiskarna's Melker Granqvist got a free kick in the 90th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hummerfiskarna walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
