Hernan Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Silviano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Medias Rotas's Hernan Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Sol in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Buenos Aires City got a corner. Medias Rotas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rosendo Sol ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Teofilo Fidele got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hernan Estevon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Medias Rotas's Eustacio Valerio got a free kick in the 15th minute. Rosendo Sol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hernan Estevon came out and tried to block the shot, but Rosendo Sol slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. After 20 played minutes Buenos Aires City got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Vergaray. In the 22nd minute, Abel Iaki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Buenos Aires City's Baltasar Silviano got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hernan Estevon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Medias Rotas's Hernan Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Silviano in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Baltasar Silviano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buenos Aires City's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Silviano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Estevon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Medias Rotas's Hernan Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Colas in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rosendo Sol made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Teofilo Fidele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Estevon. Medias Rotas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Fidele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Hernan Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Vito in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Baltasar Silviano had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 58 minutes, Gerardo Tadzio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medias Rotas and the Buenos Aires City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hernan Estevon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Fidele in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Teofilo Fidele notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Medias Rotas's Hernan Estevon. Hernan Estevon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hernan Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Colas in the 77th minute of play. Teofilo Fidele scored 6-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernan Estevon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hernan Estevon came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Buenos Aires City's André Marquez. But to his dismay, André Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. André Marquez scored 8-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernan Estevon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Buenos Aires City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
