The corner led Medias Rotas's Daniel Milian to fire away a dangerous shot which Walter Wylie despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Walter Wylie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Erroman in the 37th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Medias Rotas's Mateo Erroman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Wylie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 42nd minute, St.Mirren's Stephen Barnfather seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stephen Barnfather the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of St.Mirren protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stephen Barnfather had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
