Sean Farcinsen started the match with the kick off. Calle Volsøe's late challenge caught a Coventry Wasps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calle Volsøe helped the player get up and apologised. Lauritz Dyngbo charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lauritz Dyngbo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Injuries getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lauritz Dyngbo hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Sean Farcinsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matty Plant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coventry Wasps's Matty Plant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Farcinsen in the 20th minute of play. Gus Fountain hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Sean Farcinsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matty Plant was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 27 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Jermaine Silvester. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Erling Bøgeskov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Injuries's supporters rose to their feet, but Erling Bøgeskov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matty Plant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th match minute, Coventry Wasps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Shipperley to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Sean Farcinsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matty Plant was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Matty Plant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Farcinsen in the 44th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronny Shipperley to strike the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Ronnie Blakeley. A collision led to Coventry Wasps getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ronnie Blakeley hit a great ball. Sean Farcinsen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Matty Plant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Sean Farcinsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matty Plant was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Coventry Wasps's Archie Robinson got a free kick in the 67th minute. Injuries made a substitution. Pablo Krolmark replaced Knut Jersabek. Matty Plant made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Sean Farcinsen sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Matty Plant managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Injuries's Sean Farcinsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 80 in the game by Sean Farcinsen from a close distance when the talented Matty Plant managed to make a qualified save. Coventry Wasps's players were relieved. The supporters of Injuries booed when Coventry Wasps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simeon Woodhead didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wagn Teirup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Sean Farcinsen came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Injuries fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Farcinsen couldn't finish the play. When Sean Farcinsen got free in front of the goal in the 96th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Matty Plant was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Injuries played a much better game than Coventry Wasps and deserved their victory. The Coventry Wasps players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
