After a rather tough play, Nacional Potosí's Cresitobalo Abarca got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional Potosí's zone, Oscar Belo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Blomme came out of the goal and Oscar Belo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beto Acosta made a kick off. Jeremy Blomme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Cositorto, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Beto Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Blomme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wyatt Jeffers kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas made a substitution. Peng Hong Fei replaced Beto Acosta. After 68 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Wyatt Jeffers. In the 68th minute of the match Uli Krutten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremy Blomme skillfully saved the ball. Nacional Potosí's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
