In the 27th minute of the match Zeca da Silva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vivaldo Paraíba skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Toscano in the 31st minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Vivaldo Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dal 3ello getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Christian Pitta hit a great ball. Vivaldo Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Leonel Jacinto got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Toscano came free, but Vivaldo Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Noel Toscano made a precise shot to the right of Vivaldo Paraíba. Blumenau Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Blumenau Esporte Clube's Vivaldo Paraíba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Blumenau Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Blumenau Esporte Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
