The supporters of UPAU FC booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Restu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siro Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Guifre in the 11th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Ruben Ferman put in a rough tackle. In the 14th minute, one of UPAU FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UPAU FC. The referee gave Sarmiento de Resistencia a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Esteve Fix, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UPAU FC's Felix Inocente. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Guifre in the 28th minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Siro Elazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UPAU FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramon Sustrai in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Aaron Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Elazar. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Felix Inocente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Abalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes, Aaron Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UPAU FC and the Sarmiento de Resistencia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Inocente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Indar in the 84th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, UPAU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Abalos came free, but Felix Inocente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarmiento de Resistencia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UPAU FC for a fine match.
