Herminio Guifre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Francesco Ali when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Herminio Guifre had several of the Broom of the System DA13's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Francesco Ali as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ferdinando Walcher struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Felix Inocente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broom of the System DA13. Nereo Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Guifre in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Ali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute Ferdinando Walcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Inocente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Francesco Petito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Guifre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francesco Ali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Guifre in the 24th minute. If Francesco Petito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Guifre in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Ali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herminio Guifres short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Francesco Ali to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 32 minutes into the game, Felice Caracciolo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Broom of the System DA13's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UPAU FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Broom of the System DA13's Felice Caracciolo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute Herminio Guifre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinando Walcher hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes UPAU FC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Guifre. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinando Walcher to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ferdinando Walcher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Loren kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Broom of the System DA13 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Emilio Bernardi hit a great ball. When Nereo Lia fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UPAU FC's protests and gave Nereo Lia a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Herminio Guifre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francesco Ali was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After 69 played minutes Broom of the System DA13 got a freekick which was hit by Felice Del Grosso. In the 71st minute Herminio Guifre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Herminio Guifre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Broom of the System DA13's Francesco Ali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herminio Guifre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francesco Ali having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Herminio Guifre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francesco Ali was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Guifre in the 93rd minute of play forced Broom of the System DA13's goalkeeper Francesco Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Broom of the System DA13 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UPAU FC.
