The referee showed Brian Öberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of IGUIPORÃ FC booed when Cash Is King was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Öberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Pilblad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Andrade's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Hamberg in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Motta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cash Is King's Jonas Dahlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Öberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Björkkvist, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Adilson Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Sven-Åke Britz hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. IGUIPORÃ FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
