Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joe Tate to make the kick off. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal and Christoff Stocks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Karlo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Edmond Verdun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ. If Aureliano Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Karlo came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Aureliano Karlo sped through Errecaborda AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edmond Verdun. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Errecaborda AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ:s goal. Emílio Terra scored 4-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Eztebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
