When Evaristo Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the klide13 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Fernandez couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Evaristo Fernandez made a precise shot to the right of Edmond Verdun. Errecaborda AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Evaristo Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the klide13 fans jumped to their feet. After taking down the ball on klide13's corner Tiran Centers fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmond Verdun quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joe Tate to make the kick off. Youri Maguet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 86th minute Errecaborda AFC were awarded a corner. Emílio Terra went to the cornerflag to take it. Errecaborda AFC's Emílio Terra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Youri Maguet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gustave Rat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Edmond Verdun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
