When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tivadar Demeter made a kick off. Mar Cheze received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferenc Tököli came out and tried to block the shot, but Mar Cheze slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tivadar Demeter in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remus Pinches saved Romania from getting behind. The Hungary fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Hungary's Tivadar Demeter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Romania's Virgil Enoaia was substituted for Mihai Tâbârnă. Remus Pinches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Áron Bódog in the 62nd minute of play. Remus Pinches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tivadar Demeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferenc Tököli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgil Enoaia's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Virgil Enoaia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Ferenc Tököli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Tivadar Demeter came free, but Remus Pinches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary made a substitution. Lajos Szatmári replaced Áron Bódog. In the 79th minute László Gácsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Pinches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hungary booed when Romania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustin Bâru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lajos Szatmári might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remus Pinches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lajos Szatmári ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute Iustin Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Tököli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Pinches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from László Gácsi in the 91st minute of play. Remus Pinches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lajos Szatmári, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
