It was Isac Zub who took care of the corner kick. Serginho Ramos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ionică Bădilescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute Emanuel Mălăele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Bădilescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Teodoroiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Manuel Isăilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Bădilescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho Ramos in the 35th minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Ionică Bădilescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Teodoroiu in the 36th minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Niculae Ailenei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Ionică Bădilescu got control of the ball when Răzvan Ioanițiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Răzvan Ioanițiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Ionică Bădilescu made a huge save. Ionică Bădilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Mălăele in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Filip Aanicăi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes Aurel Teodoroiu shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Niculae Ailenei when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. After 47 played minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Pintilie. FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Emilian Şoimaru replaced Sandu Porumbescu. In the 49th minute, Horaţiu Pintilie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciprian Halipa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sever Crăiniceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Manuel Isăilă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ionică Bădilescu having to make a save. In the 61st minute Emanuel Mălăele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Bădilescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Aurel Teodoroiu could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Niculae Ailenei however easily saved by the left post. In the 84th minute, one of FC PIETROSUL -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC PIETROSUL -MM-. When Viorel Iacobescu came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC PIETROSUL -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viorel Iacobescu couldn't finish the play. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dragoş Dancu in the 96th minute. The corner ended in Dragoş Dancu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Romania's Niculae Ailenei did a great save. 97 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Toma came free, but Ionică Bădilescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
