With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Mendez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augusto Mendez made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Tiro Piedra sent off a good shot on target. Rudi Bremke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Augusto Mendez made a huge save. Barça Salvadoreño FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
