The supporters of Made in Paraguay booed when Barça Salvadoreño FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lionel Cäfärov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dagoberto Ulloa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. Manuel Collado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loramendi Moldes's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The corner led Barça Salvadoreño FC's Lionel do Nascimento to fire away a dangerous shot which Vincente Monzon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The throw-in from Isaac Zelaya in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Made in Paraguay's Manuelo Onil. Vincente Monzon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dagoberto Ulloa in the 29th minute. After 33 minutes of play, Made in Paraguay's Loramendi Moldes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Collado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Made in Paraguay were furious when Joseba Font was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Made in Paraguay! When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Barça Salvadoreño FC's Lionel do Nascimento got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vincente Monzon. 45 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Ulloa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Vincente Monzon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatello Krik in the 47th minute of play forced Made in Paraguay's goalkeeper Vincente Monzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Roque Santa Cruz made the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the game, Rafinha Brasil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Made in Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barça Salvadoreño FC the free kick. If Roque Santa Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Made in Paraguay made a substitution. Gerazan Tarano replaced Blanco Cotilla. Made in Paraguay's Manuelo Onil managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Isaac Zelaya in the 71 minute of the game. Manuel Collado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celino Baños in the 76th minute. Isaac Lovo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Vincente Monzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Donatello Krik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Vincente Monzon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filippo De Palma made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Isaac Zelaya. Made in Paraguay's Vincente Monzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel do Nascimento in the 87th minute of play. Vincente Monzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Ulloa in the 95th minute of play. Barça Salvadoreño FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
