Clasico XI's Jacobo Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Udalaitz in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Estevez in the 13th minute of play forced Clasico XI's goalkeeper Jacobo Beila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Noé fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Beila having to interfere. Nike Blanco scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Beila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Nike Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Beila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Beila came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Darkness FC's Danilo Estevez. But to his dismay, Danilo Estevez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Cipriano Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Beila having to interfere. Jacobo Beila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Noé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Darkness FC booed when Clasico XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Gar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Maximino Noé ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Beila was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Estevez in the 47th minute of play forced Clasico XI's goalkeeper Jacobo Beila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Darkness FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Nel was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Gio van Bronckhorst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darkness FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gio van Bronckhorst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 minutes Clasico XI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Orlando Udalaitz who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Orlando Udalaitz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Clasico XI's Jacobo Beila did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Clasico XI's zone, Cipriano Brion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Beila came out of the goal and Cipriano Brion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacobo Beila was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nike Blanco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 61 minute of play. Darkness FC's Isaias Ermano was substituted for Maximino Noé. After a rather tough play, Clasico XI's Juan Fernendo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Jacobo Beila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Ermano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Ermano in the 76th minute of play. When Samuel Etoo came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Darkness FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Etoo couldn't finish the play. Darkness FC's Samuel Etoo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Clasico XI's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Etoo came free, but Jacobo Beila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Beila came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Darkness FC's Cipriano Brion. But to his dismay, Cipriano Brion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Jacobo Beila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Estevez in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Estevez in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Beila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Marciano Pere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Clasico XI's Jacobo Beila got control of the ball when Orlando Udalaitz tried to sneak it across the goal line.
