After 3 played minutes The Special One got a freekick which was hit by Olivar Fabeiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Olo in the 13th minute of play forced ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's goalkeeper Rodrigo Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes, Victorino Pacifico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS and the The Special One players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Victorino Pacifico hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Desiderio Olo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rodrigo Txeru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Olivar Fabeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Special One's supporters rose to their feet, but Olivar Fabeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Txeru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Special One's Denis Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Evangelista in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Mete Verga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Special One's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mete Verga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Txeru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Olo in the 33rd minute of play. If Mete Verga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mete Verga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Txeru having to interfere. Rodrigo Txeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Verga in the 40th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes The Special One got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Afonso. After the first half The Special One were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Desiderio Olo was the one to do the kick off. Mete Verga came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodrigo Txeru could save by the left post. Rodrigo Txeru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Olo in the 53rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as The Special One's Honorio Afonso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodrigo Txeru. That made the score 0-2 after 55 minutes of play. ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's Rodrigo Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Olo in the 58th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Nunez Patxi in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Special One's Olivar Fabeiro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Olo got free with Rodrigo Txeru in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's Rodrigo Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Afonso in the 68th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Special One fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS. Eriberto Evangelista stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Denis Amor. 1-2. Mete Verga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Afonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Txeru having to interfere. Rodrigo Txeru was a little too slow when Honorio Afonso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-3. Mete Verga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rodrigo Txeru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mete Verga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Victorino Pacifico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded The Special One left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS.
