That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. 10 minutes into the game, ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's Eriberto Evangelista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johnie Ayers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Harriet got free with Johnie Ayers in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Eriberto Evangelista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnie Ayers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Eriberto Evangelista tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johnie Ayers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's Johnie Ayers threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victorino Pacifico, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Johnie Ayers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Harriet in the 26th minute of the match. The goalkeeper, Johnie Ayers, was totally fooled by ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's Eriberto Evangelista, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 32 minutes into the game, Angel Tamayo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Rodrigo Txeru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute Angel Tamayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match Damian Zieba shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Txeru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rodrigo Txeru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Tamayo in the 39th minute of play. 3-2 became the score in the 42nd minute when Herminio Mateus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Johnie Ayers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Feo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angel Tamayo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vicente Sadurni hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Johnie Ayers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Pacifico, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Realsamesta's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Evangelista came free, but Johnie Ayers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's zone, Waldemar Kordalewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Txeru came out of the goal and Waldemar Kordalewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 played minutes Realsamesta got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Sadurni. 68 minutes into the match, Realsamesta's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Evangelista came free, but Johnie Ayers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Sabin struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Rodrigo Txeru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Realsamesta. If Angel Tamayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Txeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Kordalewski in the 78th minute of the match. Rodrigo Txeru came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Realsamesta's Waldemar Kordalewski. But to his dismay, Waldemar Kordalewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. After 88 played minutes Angel Tamayo rounded ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-4. After a defensive mix-up in ESCUADRÓN DE LOS MUERTOS's zone, Angel Tamayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Txeru came out of the goal and Angel Tamayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Txeru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Kordalewski in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Realsamesta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
