In the 15th minute, Freddy Evis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnie Ayers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th minute of the game, Vicente Sadurni landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Freddy Evis's late challenge caught a Realsamesta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Evis helped the player get up and apologised. Realsamesta's Cecilio Kelemen was substituted for Vicente Sadurni. After a rather tough play, Gatitos del infierno's Freddy Evis got a free kick in the 21st minute. The supporters of Realsamesta booed when Gatitos del infierno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Evis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match, Angel Tamayo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Segundo Gonza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 43 minutes into the game, Leonardo Tabby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gatitos del infierno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Realsamesta the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gatitos del infierno's Leonardo Tabby got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Segundo Gonza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angel Tamayo's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Herminio Alonso's late challenge caught a Realsamesta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herminio Alonso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Herminio Alonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Gatitos del infierno were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Perez was the one to do the kick off. Segundo Gonza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Tamayo in the 53rd minute of the match. Gatitos del infierno's Segundo Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Orkatz in the 57th minute of play. Damian Sabin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Segundo Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Perez in the 67th minute of play forced Realsamesta's goalkeeper Johnie Ayers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Tamayo in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Gonza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Segundo Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Sabin in the 70th minute of play. Koldobika Viaña's late challenge caught a Realsamesta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Koldobika Viaña helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, one of Gatitos del infierno:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gatitos del infierno. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Realsamesta. Higinio Hitz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Segundo Gonza. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Freddy Evis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gatitos del infierno's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Evis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnie Ayers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Freddy Evis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Tamayo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Segundo Gonza having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Freddy Evis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gatitos del infierno's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Evis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnie Ayers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luis Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Realsamesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Hitz to maneuver through the defense. Gatitos del infierno's Luis Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Segundo Gonza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Sabin in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Realsamesta had won after a very even match.
