The Socavon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 10th minute Ksawery Furgal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Durango saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Durango made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Artal Baltanas sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ksawery Furgal got free with Leonides Durango in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Antonio Failde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pes Horna was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Socavon FC's goalkeeper Pes Horna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Socavon FC's Anselmo Bakar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonides Durango. That made the score 2-1 after 25 minutes of play. In the 30th minute, Janis Petko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Socavon FC's Pes Horna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Failde in the 31st minute of play. Leonides Durango took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Bakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Socavon FC's Janis Petko got a free kick in the 37th minute. Antonio Failde struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Pes Horna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chigüires De Mogadiscio. After a rather tough play, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Yvan Rompen got a free kick in the 41st minute. A hard shot by Nicola Berti from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Leonides Durango's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 45 minutes into the game, Osoro Otero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Socavon FC the free kick. Leonides Durango made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Nicola Berti sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Failde was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Anselmo Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Durango saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chigüires De Mogadiscio made a substitution. Velasco Balbanea replaced Horacio Escajadillo. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Roberto Nabar was substituted for Osoro Otero. In the 58th minute, Marquez Dolarea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Socavon FC's Pes Horna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Failde in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Furgal in the 62nd minute of play forced Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goalkeeper Leonides Durango to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artal Baltanas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Durango having to interfere. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Yaar O'Connell was substituted for Colon Frecha. Artal Baltanas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Socavon FC made a substitution. Pes Horna was a little too slow when Antonio Failde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 2-2. Socavon FC made a substitution. Bernaldo Maquibar replaced Tom Stenman. 81 minutes into the game, Anselmo Bakar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Leonides Durango was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the match, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goal looked a bit too open when Bernaldo Maquibar came free, but Leonides Durango reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Ermengol Alberete ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Durango was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Pes Horna successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 93 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Nabar came free, but Pes Horna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Durango showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Bakar, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Socavon FC fully deserved thier win.
