Bob Hyatt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Dean, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Nacho Gonzalez made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Nerio Lopez de Toro sent off a good shot on target. Recolta Alamor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanuel Pennington was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Recolta Alamor's Damian Dean in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nerio Lopez de Toro got free with Nacho Gonzalez in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Recolta Alamor's Nacho Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Recolta Alamor from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Dean to strike the kick off in the second half. Steve Van Clynenbreugel hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Tuan Eubanks hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Van Clynenbreugel in the 57th minute of play. Tuan Eubanks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ACC Mavericks booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Pennington didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Pennington dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bob Hyatt, 0-1. If Emmanuel Pennington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terry Hinson got a throw-in 74 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Conrad Moore. Damian Dean charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Dean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Damian Dean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute of the match, Damian Dean tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bob Hyatt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Damian Dean took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bob Hyatt. Bob Hyatt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nerio Lopez de Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Recolta Alamor players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
