Spectators: 9262 (Terracing: 6948, Seating: 2130, VIP seats: 184) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredo Di Stéfano started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Gerry Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Craig Velazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vern Wright in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Craig Velazquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Craig Velazquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vern Wright's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Craig Velazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vern Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vern Wright in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Craig Velazquez saved Misinformed Buffalo from getting behind. Dadá Lara hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Vern Wright's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Craig Velazquez was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Vern Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Craig Velazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Russell Hare took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Craig Velazquez. Misinformed Buffalo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Craig Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vern Wright in the 28th minute of the match. Boyd Winkler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eli Fournier in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Oren Braden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gerry Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, Misinformed Buffalo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel McGrath to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Pueblo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Gerry Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Misinformed Buffalo's Craig Velazquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Misinformed Buffalo from getting a goal against them. After 53 played minutes Misinformed Buffalo got a freekick which was hit by Oren Braden. Mohammed Flanagan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Craig Velazquez having to make a save. When Pueblo FC's Vern Wright in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Misinformed Buffalo's goalie prevented a goal. Vern Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vern Wright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Velazquez having to interfere. Vern Wrights short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Craig Velazquez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Craig Velazquez managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Pueblo FC's Vern Wright fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vern Wright in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Craig Velazquez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mohammed Flanagan hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Leo Alefors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Misinformed Buffalo's zone, Shelton Clifton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Craig Velazquez came out of the goal and Shelton Clifton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Misinformed Buffalo's goal looked a bit too open when Vern Wright came free, but Craig Velazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Di Stéfano in the 84th minute of play forced Pueblo FC's goalkeeper Boyd Winkler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadá Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vern Wright kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Pueblo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Lara came free, but Boyd Winkler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
