The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Boyd Winkler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Rosen in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pueblo FC's Russell Hare got a free kick in the 8th minute. Boyd Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Dean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shelton Clifton's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Nacho Gonzalez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerry Franco in the 15th minute of the match. Boyd Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Rosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute of the match, Shelton Clifton got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nacho Gonzalez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pueblo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emmanuel Pennington ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Recolta Alamor's Armen Gabrielyan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 45 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Armen Gabrielyan. With a little luck, Recolta Alamor's Nacho Gonzalez got control of the ball when Shelton Clifton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nacho Gonzalez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shelton Clifton's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Vern Wright made the kick off in the second half. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shelton Clifton in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Pueblo FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Aldo Singleton hit a great ball. Cyprian Rosen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nacho Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vern Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Pueblo FC's Vern Wright nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nacho Gonzalez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The Pueblo FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
