The tension between the Colpton FC and the Broadlands AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hyman Richter hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Daron Ambrose kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Broadlands AFC defense, Hyman Richter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shaun Rhodes. The Broadlands AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shaun Rhodes should have stopped the shot. Hyman Richter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Rhodes having to interfere. Warren Allen struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Shaun Rhodes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colpton FC. Warren Allens short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Shaun Rhodes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 25 minutes into the game, Nicolas Barrière was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colpton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Broadlands AFC the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Colpton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Barrière to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Waylon Duranseau sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Colpton FC's Frances Vance didn't even have to move. In the 28th match minute, Broadlands AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hershel Toth to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Broadlands AFC's Elvis Herndon got a free kick in the 36th minute. Warren Allen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Rhodes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hyman Richter in the 40th minute of play forced Broadlands AFC's goalkeeper Shaun Rhodes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eustache Loomis came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Broadlands AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustache Loomis couldn't finish the play. Warren Allen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Shaun Rhodes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hershel Toth to strike the kick off in the second half. Hyman Richter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hyman Richter in the 86th minute of play forced Broadlands AFC's goalkeeper Shaun Rhodes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute of the match Colpton FC got a corner. Broadlands AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ali Brunault ran over to the corner to take the kick. 93 minutes into the match, Broadlands AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hyman Richter came free, but Shaun Rhodes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eustache Loomis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Colpton FC's Frances Vance got control of the ball when Eustache Loomis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
