Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marlin Rouse got the match started through his kick off. When Ronnie Reid fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chignecto FC's protests and gave Ronnie Reid a yellow card for diving instead. Ronnie Reid hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the last second Elisha Norris throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hershel Toth in the 5thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 9th minute, Irvin Penn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daron Ambrose kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Irvin Penn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Shaun Rhodes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Hershel Toth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chignecto FC's Elisha Norris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shaun Rhodes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irvin Penn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Irvin Penn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marlin Rouse came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Chignecto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marlin Rouse couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Chignecto FC's zone, Hershel Toth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elisha Norris came out of the goal and Hershel Toth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Broadlands AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daron Ambrose. Hershel Toth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elisha Norris came out and tried to block the shot, but Hershel Toth slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Eustache Loomis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chignecto FC's Elisha Norris. Elisha Norris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elisha Norris made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Daron Ambrose sent off a good shot on target. Elisha Norris made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Eustache Loomis sent off a good shot on target. Shaun Rhodes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marlin Rouse in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hershel Toth was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Broadlands AFC defense, Irvin Penn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shaun Rhodes. The Broadlands AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shaun Rhodes should have stopped the shot. Chignecto FC's Marlin Rouse got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustache Loomis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Elisha Norris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hershel Toth scored 3-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elisha Norris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Broadlands AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Randolph Howard hit a great ball. Omar Dostie hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Chignecto FC's Marlin Rouse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shaun Rhodes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 85 minutes, Eustache Loomis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Broadlands AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustache Loomis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Irvin Penn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chignecto FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Omar Dostie hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Broadlands AFC's Hershel Toth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elisha Norris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hershel Toth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elisha Norris having to interfere. Broadlands AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
