If Hershel Toth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Davenport received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Shaun Rhodes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Broadlands AFC's zone, Leon Davenport stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shaun Rhodes came out of the goal and Leon Davenport tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustache Loomis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Butcher having to interfere. Shaun Rhodes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Atwood in the 18th minute of play. Eustache Loomis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Butcher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. If Hershel Toth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Atwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Rhodes having to interfere. In the 35th minute of the match Ward Grove shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shaun Rhodes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gustavo Atwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Hershel Toth rounded McKague's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hershel Toth was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Broadlands AFC's goalkeeper Shaun Rhodes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Atwood. 54 minutes into the match, Daron Ambrose had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Butcher. McKague's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daron Ambrose was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Leon Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Atwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Rhodes having to interfere. Gustavo Atwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. McKague were furious when Rodrick Voss was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of McKague:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Broadlands AFC:s goal. The referee gave Broadlands AFC a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Waylon Duranseau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of McKague's Santo Butcher. 3-0. Gustavo Atwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shaun Rhodes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Huppé in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, McKague's Gustavo Atwood sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shaun Rhodes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gustavo Atwood came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the McKague fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Atwood couldn't finish the play. Denis Huppé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Broadlands AFC's Daron Ambrose got a free kick in the 87th minute. Hershel Toth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Santo Butcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Gustavo Atwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaun Rhodes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Broadlands AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
