Jano Maciels short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Tony Arruda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tony Arruda made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Jano Maciel sent off a good shot on target. Tony Arruda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nestor Paraibano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Westbam's Tony Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Westbam from getting a goal against them. Westbam's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Jano Maciel scored to the left of an out of position Tony Arruda, making the score, 2-0. Antal Fodor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tony Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jano Maciel to make the kick off. Topsail made a substitution. 顾峰彬 replaced Antal Fodor. After a rather tough play, Westbam's Peter Töpfer got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Runar Myrland in the 64th minute of play forced Westbam's goalkeeper Tony Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Griffin in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Arruda saved Westbam from getting behind. Tony Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 顾峰彬, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the match, 顾峰彬 notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Westbam's Tony Arruda. Tony Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Topsail fully deserved thier win.
