Medieval Football Club's Gilvan Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Neves in the 32nd minute of play. In the 39th minute, Medieval Football Club's Leonardo Pena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Fábio Mendes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarbas Sá read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Leonardo Pena struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Jarbas Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medieval Football Club. Leonardo Pena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarbas Sá having to make a save. Gilvan Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Medieval Football Club's Leonardo Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fábio Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Sá having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábio Mendes in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarbas Sá saved East Tower United from getting behind. The supporters of Medieval Football Club booed when East Tower United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, East Tower United's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Mendes came free, but Jarbas Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fábio Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Medieval Football Club booed when East Tower United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. 99 minutes into the match, Medieval Football Club's Vitinho Mendes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
