East Tower United's Jarbas Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Alagoano in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, New Life's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Neves came free, but Eriberto Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Neves in the 32nd minute of play. Gilberto Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. East Tower United's Jarbas Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Alagoano in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, New Life's goalkeeper Eriberto Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelson do Vale.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Álvaro Neves was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, New Life was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. Nelson do Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nelson do Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. Nelson do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eriberto Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clóvis Salles hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. New Life's Tiago Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarbas Sá was a little too slow when Carlos Augusto Alagoano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-1. Tiago Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiago Simãos short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Jarbas Sá to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 83rd minute, Nelson do Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The East Tower United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 90thth minute of the game Carlos Augusto Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Tower United's Jarbas Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Augusto Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Álvaro Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched New Life eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
