Leonardo Pena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dino Bastos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. When Rogério Ceni fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medieval Football Club's protests and gave Rogério Ceni a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Medieval Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Ceni. Gilvan Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Almeida in the 10th minute of play. If Leonardo Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Mendes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dino Bastos came out and tried to block the shot, but Fábio Mendes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute, Waldir Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilvan Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Almeida in the 20th minute of the match. Medieval Football Club's Gilvan Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleiton Bastos in the 22nd minute of play. Leonardo Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Pena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Dino Bastos made a huge save. Dino Bastos made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Leonardo Pena sent off a good shot on target. Dino Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inácio Mello in the 41st minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 minutes of play, Medieval Football Club's Leonardo Pena made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dino Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Waldir Moreira made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Curipi SS's Christian Gomes. Dino Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Pena in the 58th minute of play. Leonardo Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Bastos having to interfere. A collision led to Curipi SS getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Anderson Marinho hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Vitinho Mendes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dino Bastos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 66 played minutes Curipi SS got a freekick which was hit by Christian Gomes. 69 minutes into the game, Cleiton Bastos lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Gilvan Trancoso. Leonardo Pena scored 4-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Bastos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Cleiton Bastos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dino Bastos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Medieval Football Club's Leonardo Pena shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Cleiton Bastos struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Gilvan Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curipi SS. In the 91st minute Fábio Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
