The supporters of Real C.A.Pirassununguense booed when Coroata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorival Batista during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Coroata's Dorival Batista got a free kick in the 31st minute. Robinho Borges took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Almeida. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robinho Borges to make the kick off. Coroata's Ismael Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Montenegro in the 53rd minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Real C.A.Pirassununguense's Tomás Mesquita made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dalmo Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robinho Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Igor Almeida made a huge save. Robinho Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Almeida having to interfere. Igor Almeida was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jardel Breckenfeld. Ismael Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Coroata failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
