Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Victor Mendiko kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Real C.A.Pirassununguense's Marcelo Tinoco got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Orlando Matos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cacá de Andrade skillfully saved the ball. In the 24th match minute, Real C.A.Pirassununguense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Boruc Motowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boruc Motowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Igor Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Victor Mendiko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Almeida. Real C.A.Pirassununguense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Mendiko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Igor Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Itajuipe EC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Real C.A.Pirassununguense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Boruc Motowski took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Boruc Motowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Igor Almeida quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Victor Mendiko came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Itajuipe EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Mendiko couldn't finish the play. Tomás Mesquita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cacá de Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Real C.A.Pirassununguense booed when Itajuipe EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. Itajuipe EC's Cacá de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Montenegro in the 43rd minute of play. When Téo Recife fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itajuipe EC's protests and gave Téo Recife a yellow card for diving instead. Téo Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Igor Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Recife in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmo Montenegro was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Dalmo Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59thth minute of the game Victor Mendiko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real C.A.Pirassununguense's Igor Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Dalmo Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cacá de Andrade. Itajuipe EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalmo Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 64th minute, Nilmar Ferreira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Victor Mendiko succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. 75 minutes into the match, Itajuipe EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo Montenegro came free, but Cacá de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nilmar Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilmar Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Itajuipe EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real C.A.Pirassununguense throughout the match.
