An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Bittencourt in the 14th minute of play forced Blaze of Glory F.C.'s goalkeeper Roberto Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fábio Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Marcel de Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Roberto Bittencourt was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Blaze of Glory F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Roberto Bittencourt made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Fábio Castro sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaldo Lopes made a kick off. Roberto Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Lopes in the 51st minute of the match. Zé Augusto Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Roberto Bittencourt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Zé Roberto Bittencourt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Paulista's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Roberto Queirós made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Bebeto Bittencourt sent off a good shot on target. Fábio Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto Bittencourt having to interfere. When Blaze of Glory F.C.'s Marcel de Almeida in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Subiu Esporte Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel de Almeida in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Roberto Bittencourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fábio Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zé Roberto Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Moura in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Valadares in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Roberto Bittencourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fábio Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Subiu Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Castro came free, but Zé Roberto Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Roberto Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Paulista in the 90th minute of play. Rodolfo Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blaze of Glory F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
