Hudson Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 5 minutes into the game, Leria FC's Telmo Madureira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elano Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Hudson Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armandinho de Lara. Leria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hudson Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Diamantino Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Elano Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Hudson Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gears of War MZT's supporters rose to their feet, but Hudson Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Pedrinho Guimarães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armandinho de Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Gears of War MZT booed when Leria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Gears of War MZT's Mateus Ferreira made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armandinho de Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Gears of War MZT booed when Leria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrinho Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 minutes of play, Leria FC's Raí de Almeida made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elano Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, Duda Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Leria FC's Telmo Madureira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elano Motta. Elano Motta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Pedrinho Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elano Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raí de Almeida in the 43rd minute. Telmo Madureira struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Elano Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leria FC. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Telmo Madureira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Leria FC's Pedrão de Lima made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elano Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Telmo Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano Motta having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Gears of War MZT's goal looked a bit too open when Raí de Almeida came free, but Elano Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elano Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Madureira in the 65th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Gears of War MZT got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Guimarães. Wiliam Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano Motta having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Madureira in the 72nd minute of play forced Gears of War MZT's goalkeeper Elano Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Diamantino Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hudson Abreu's late challenge caught a Leria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hudson Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. Gears of War MZT's Elano Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Madureira in the 86th minute of play. Diamantino Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Elano Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Adriano Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Gears of War MZT players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Leria FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
