In the 25th minute, Laerte Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claes Alstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diamantino Cabral got free with Claes Alstedt in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. pinheiral FC's Claes Alstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save pinheiral FC from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Leria FC's Raí de Almeida ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claes Alstedt. Claes Alstedt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. pinheiral FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Diamantino Cabral scored to the left of an out of position Claes Alstedt, making the score, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in pinheiral FC's zone, Telmo Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Alstedt came out of the goal and Telmo Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Glauco Custódio to strike the kick off in the second half. Llope Pais kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Adriano Prata was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Diamantino Cabral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claes Alstedt. pinheiral FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diamantino Cabral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A collision led to pinheiral FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dráuzio Maia hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Telmo Madureira sped through pinheiral FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claes Alstedt. Pedrão de Lima took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claes Alstedt. Claes Alstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustaf Eckegren during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, pinheiral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Eckegren to maneuver through the defense. Claes Alstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Cabral in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Leria FC booed when pinheiral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llope Pais didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Leria FC had played much better football throughout.
