Elano Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ernani Pena was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Percival Prata capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Percival Prata really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 28th minute Durvalino Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Gears of War MZT's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Esteves came free, but Elano Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Linares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes, Durvalino Lopez made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gears of War MZT's Elano Motta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Pedrinho Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 35 minutes, Durvalino Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durvalino Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elano Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Pena having to interfere. A collision led to FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Luís Fábio Carvalho hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Pedrinho Guimarães sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ernani Pena didn't even have to move. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danilo Linares was the one to do the kick off. When Pedrinho Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Gears of War MZT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Guimarães couldn't finish the play. Elano Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Linares in the 61st minute of the match. Gears of War MZT's Elano Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Linares in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Velasco in the 62nd minute of play forced Gears of War MZT's goalkeeper Elano Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elano Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Durvalino Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Danilo Linares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. Luís Fábio Carvalho hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Pedrinho Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabriel Esteves in the 83rd minute. When Luís Fábio Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's protests and gave Luís Fábio Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fábio Carvalho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Prata in the 85th minute of play forced FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Ernani Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durvalino Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Elano Motta made a huge save. Eurico Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elano Motta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eurico Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. When Duda Teles fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gears of War MZT's protests and gave Duda Teles a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Gears of War MZT got a freekick which was hit by Duda Teles. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
